Together we, proprietors, Red and Leigh Ramia, share our spectacular businesses with our three children Regan, Amanda and Minette and their families.
Red Ramia, the mastermind behind the whole enterprise, has spent many years evolving Red Ramia Trading (Est. in 2000) into an enormous globe-trotter’s emporium of furniture, pottery, homewares, rugs, exotic fabrics, kimonos, architectural & garden design features from marble statues to teakwood pavilions. Take a trip through Japan, Morocco and India as you wander through a mixture of hand picked antiques, artisan crafted good and recycled items.
He focus’ on introducing new stock items of increased value and quality. There’s simply no stopping the energetic heart and mind of Red and his desire to grow the business bigger, better and even more beautiful. He has truly built himself and his family an iconic Australian success story!
Cafe Fez, built in 2008 was inspired during a buying trip to Morocco, Red and his eldest daughter Amanda were captivated by Moroccan culture—its souks, spice markets, architecture, and hospitality and aimed to bring this vibrant sensory experience home.
Cafe Fez's menu and interior directly reflect their authentic discoveries.
Sitting at Cafe Fez under the twinkling of coloured glass lanterns with steam curling luxuriously from your tea, you are transported momentarily to Safi or Fez. The brilliant thing is that here you don’t need a plane ticket.
